Welcome to the website of Mark A. Pearce

Mark is a professional printmaker and landscape artist living and working in the coastal village of Ravenglass in the beautiful Lake District. His home studio is situated on the shores of an estuary with stunning views of the surrounding  fells and sea. These local landscapes provide much of the inspiration for his paintings and original linocut prints.

Mark is a member of the Lake Artists Society and is well know for his vibrant multi coloured reduction linocuts. These have won him several awards including the 2017 Visitors Choice” at Ulverston Printfest. The BBC has also  featured Marks printmaking in their BBC1 programme “Flog It”

Mark has won the BBC design award for his memorable Royal Mail Greeting Stamps, these featured smiles from the likes of Dennis the Menace, the Mona Lisa and the laughing policeman. This also won him the prestigious D & A D Silver Award. (Design & Art Directors Club of Great Britain).
